Position Overview

As the Senior/Staff Nurse at Insight Psychiatric, you will play a critical role in leading and managing our nursing team. You will be responsible for overseeing the clinical operations, ensuring high standards of patient care, and fostering a supportive and collaborative work environment. Your role will involve close collaboration with our leadership team to ensure that our nursing practices align with our mission and support our rapid growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Clinical Leadership: Provide leadership and direction to the nursing team, ensuring high standards of patient care and clinical excellence.
  • Patient Care Management: Oversee the delivery of nursing care, including patient assessments, treatment plans, and ongoing monitoring.
  • Team Management: Recruit, train, and mentor nursing staff, ensuring they have the skills and resources needed to provide exceptional care.
  • Quality Improvement: Implement and monitor quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and nursing practices.
  • Compliance & Policies: Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local healthcare regulations and standards. Develop and maintain nursing policies and procedures.
  • Interdisciplinary Collaboration: Work closely with other healthcare professionals, including psychologists, psychiatrists, and social workers, to provide comprehensive care.
  • Data Management: Utilize EHR systems to manage patient data, track outcomes, and generate reports.
  • Strategic Planning: Contribute to the development and implementation of strategic plans related to nursing services and patient care.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) required. Master’s degree in Nursing (MSN) or a related field is preferred.
  • Experience: 5+ years of experience in a clinical nursing role, with at least 3 years in a leadership or management position.
  • Skills: Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in EHR systems and data analysis.
  • Certifications: Current RN license in the state of Texas. Relevant certifications (e.g., CEN, CNML) are a plus.
